History :
The spirit of Rajasthan's history & legend coloured by chivalry and romance finds expression in Jaipur. Built in pink stone more than two centuries ago by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the capital is a testimony to the skill of master craftsmen.The Samode Haveli was built over 150 years ago by Rawal Sheo Singhji, a Prime Minister in the Jaipur court, who belonged to the family of Samode, tracing their relation to the Jaipur Maharaja the fabled Prithviraj Singhji the 17th prince of the Kacchawala Rajputs. It was built as the Samode Royal family's suburban manor house and was converted into a heritage hotel in 1988. Today it stands as a reminder of a halcyonic past offering moments of subtle luxury. The property was constructed facing North away from the burning Rajasthan sun and features a spectacular painted dining room, an airy verandah and an elephant ramp at the entrance which was specially constructed in the 1940's for the marriage ceremony of the late Rawal Sahib's aunt.The Haveli has been masterfully restored and integrated into a unique property.
Location :
Amidst the bustle of one of India's most historical cities, Samode Haveli is a peaceful respite. It stands in the heart of the sprawling walled city of Jaipur suffused with an atmosphere of quiet beauty. It's central location makes it a convenient place to stay, moments away from virtually all Jaipur's attractions - historical and cultural monuments and sites of interest like the historical and imposing Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jal Mahal (Lake Palace), City Palace Museum, Shopping & entertainment.
Accommodation :
Each of the 29 well appointed rooms and suites are individually designed and furnished with genuine antiques and fixtures, old family portraits adorn the walls, the ambience and experience is further enhanced due to the presence of state-of-the-art in room amenities. Most of the rooms have a separate dressing area. All rooms are with ensuite bathrooms with shower and tub with hot and cold water, air conditioning, television with cable connection, telephones with international dialing facilities. The guest rooms are regal & celebrate the richness of India's culture in a tapestry of classic décor & unmatched comfort. The spacious Maharaja and Maharani suites are absolutely stunning, with every inch of the ceiling and walls ornately painted and ornamented with mirror mosaics.

Meeting and Conference :
Business and social gatherings are expertly accommodated. Conference rooms for 50 persons with all audio video equipment can be arranged. Al fresco reception facilities upto 150 people. Special theme lunches and dinners can be organized.

Open air swimming pool with Moroccan design tiles. Jacuzzi and a wading pool for children. A steam room and an ayurvedic massage centre. A bar by the pool side. Golf at Jaipur Golf Course 6 Km away can be arranged. Relax in the pool side pavilions and the lush green garden filled with scented flower and old trees, where our staff can also arrange for private lunches & candle light dinners. Facilities include, laundry, gift shop, safely vaults, car park, currency exchange, room service, Doctor on call. American, Master and Visa cards are accepted. Every evening enjoy a drink, cultural and puppet shows in the central courtyard. Car rental can be organized by the Travel Desk for visits to shops, museums, monuments & other places of interest.
Dinning :
Samode Haveli features a spectacular hand painted (from floor to ceiling) dining hall which provides a special setting for dinner, a beautiful airy verandah (lounge) where afternoon tea is a treat and where you can enjoy delicate teas & cakes. Our staff can also arrange for private meals and candle-lit dinners in the lush green back garden. Enjoy a puppet show, traditional Rajasthani dance and music over a drink in the open air lounge every evening.
