Luni
Luni Introduction :
A trip to Luni village offers a great opportunity to tourists to take a peek into the royal past of Rajasthan. It is small but attractive enough to attract many tourists throughout the year. The peaceful ambiance and wonderful attractions make the visits of tourists to Luni memorable. This lovely village is located only 35 km from the famous city of Jodhpur. The craftsmen of Luni are known to make amazing artefacts from metal, clay and wood.
Fort Chanwa :
The foundation of Fort Chanwa was laid over a hundred years ago during the rule of Maharaja Dalip Singh. The fort was fashioned out of red sandstone of Jodhpur city of Rajasthan. Today the fort is one of the best heritage hotels of Rajasthan where you can experience the royal life-style of the erstwhile Maharajas. Its finely manicured gardens, exquisitely carved lattice work friezes and beautiful Jharokas or balconies are its striking features. The regal aura of the guest rooms make the stay of guests completely royal. The restaurant of the heritage hotel Fort Chanwa serves mouth-watering traditional cuisine of Rajasthan in a perfect ambiance with musicians playing in the background. Guests can enjoy candle light dinners at the restaurant.
