Day 01 : New Delhi - Neemrana (105 Kms / 2 Hrs)
Ashok India Travels Pvt. Ltd. welcomes you for your Forts and Palaces Tour in India. Our representative will receive you at the airport, will brief you about the tour and handover the travel documents. Later move directly to Neemrana Fort built since 1464 AD, India's oldest heritage resort, Sited on a majestic plateau, concealed in a horseshoe formation of the billion year old Aravalli ranges. Later enjoy a tour of the 18th century Step well. Overnight at hotel in Neemrana.
Day 02: Neemrana - Mandawa (160 Kms / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, move by your exclusive vehicle to Mandawa Village of Shekhawati Region, This town has been referred to as the Open Art Gallery of Rajasthan because the entire Mandawa Village of Shekhawati region is dotted with fascinating mansions (havelis) that have lavishly painted walls. Take a walk to see this beautiful heritage village of Shekhawati Region that used to be an important caravanserai of the yesteryears. See the many beautiful Fresco Painted havelis of this quaint little town built by the rich and the famous merchants of the 18th and 19th centuries. Overnight at hotel in Mandawa.
Day 03 : Mandawa - Bikaner (190 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Today proceed to Bikaner, established in 1488 by Rao Bika, Here visit the Junagarh Fort, a royal museum that encompasses history of Bikaner from its days of construction that dates back to the 16th century. The fort was built by Raja Rai Singh, the sixth ruler of Bikaner who reigned from 1571 to 1612. After lunch drive 30 Kms to Deshnoke to visit Karni Mata Rat Temple which is famous for rats which can be seen everywhere in the temple. Evening free to walk around or take a tuk-tuk ride to the old city of Bikaner. Overnight at hotel in Bikaner.
Day 04 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer (330 Kms / 5 Hrs)
After breakfast, Starts your journey to Golden City Jaisalmer. Reach Jaisalmer and in the evening witness the sunset at Bada Bagh Cenotaphs (literally Big Garden) which is a garden complex about 6 km of Jaisalmer. It contains a set of royal cenotaphs or chhatris of Maharajas of Jaisalmer state, starting with Jai Singh II. Overnight at hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 05 : Jaisalmer
Today start your tour in the golden city with a visit to Gadisar Lake, Later take an exclusive visit of the Palace inside the Sonar Fort or Sonar Killa, the citadels palace having a museum with a huge collection of robes and artefacts from the royal family of Jaisalmer. Later visit the Jain temples, Jains are a community that respects life and are pure vegetarians by religion. After that visit Patwon ki Haveli with intricately designed latticed windows used by the ladies to view the external world. After Lunch proceeds to Sam or Khuri Village in Thar Desert, upon arrival in the village, take a 30 minute camel ride to the nearby sunset point on the dunes to enjoy the sunset. Later drive back to Jaisalmer or you can dine at the resort and listen to the haunted tunes of the desert by the local artists and musicians. Overnight at hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 06 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (280 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Morning drive to the blue city Jodhpur, Visit the majestic Meharangarh fort, the stronghold of the Rathore princes from 1453 AD. We see the superb collection of paintings and arms and ammunitions. The view of the city from the rampart walls is breath taking. Going down from the fort visit Jaswant Thada the royal family cremation place. Post lunch move downtown to the fabulous spice market near Clock Tower. Overnight at hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 07 : Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Narlai (195 Kms / 4 Hrs)
Today drive to Ranakpur Jain Temples - a very big pilgrimage centre for the Jains, admire the workmanship from the 15th century built out of marble. The main temple of Adinath has 1444 carved columns and none of them are similar. Also visit the sun temple and other temples in the campus. Later move to Narlai Village, a small authentic village where you can sense the real Indian Life, its surroundings are quiet & picturesque. Overnight at hotel in Narlai.
Day 08: Narlai - Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur (130 Kms / 3/4 Hrs)
After a leisurely breakfast proceed to The Kumbhalgarh Fort - the stronghold of the kingdom of Mewar built by Maharana Kumbha in 1453, On the way stop by the fields to see the local way of farming and irrigation and mingle with the locals. After that drive up to the Romantic City of Lakes - Udaipur, in the evening enjoy a Folk dance show at Bagore Ki Haveli, the haveli lightens and stages enjoyable performance of traditional dances and music of Rajasthan. Overnight at hotel in Udaipur.
Day 09 : Udaipur
After a leisurely breakfast, visit Jagdish Temple which is a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur in Rajasthan, just outside the royal palace. It has been in continuous worship since 1651. Later proceed to the Visit the City Palace of Udaipur which is the richest palace museum in the entire Rajasthan, Also see the Peacock Square and the miniature painting school inside the palace premises. After that take a boat cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola and visit the island palace of Jagmandir where according to legends the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan lived and got inspired to build the Taj Mahal later. Later visit Saheliyon ki Bari where Maharana Sangram Singh build this garden complex with fountains and lakes for his beautiful daughter. After lunch you can visit the fortress of Sajangarh (Monsoon Palace) to watch the sunset from the top of the mountain or walk around in the city center of Udaipur. Overnight at hotel in Udaipur.
Day 10 : Udaipur - Chittaugarh - Barli (240 Kms / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, move to Barli Village, On the way visit one of the largest forts in India, Chittorgarh fort which is also a UNESCO is a world heritage site. It is one of the most historically important forts in the entire north India and it reverberates with tales of heroism and sacrifice. Later arrive to Barli, On arrival in Barli you can take a walk in the Barli village. Later have rest at your 340 years old heritage hotel. Overnight at hotel in Barli.
Day 11 : Barli - Jaipur (180 Kms / 3 Hrs)
After a leisurely breakfast moves to the charming Pink City of Jaipur, After Check-In at your hotel and a bit of relax, here Visits Albert Hall Museum which is the oldest museum of the state and functions as the State museum of Rajasthan. The museum has a rich collection of artefacts like paintings, carpets, ivory, stone, metal sculptures, colourful crystal works etc. After lunch visit the Lakshminarayan Birla Temple which is a great piece of work in marble. Later in the evening enjoy a movie in Rajmandir Cinema which is Asia´s Second Best Cinema (2013) a highly recommended place. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 12 : Jaipur
A full day city tour of Jaipur starting with a short stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photography, Later proceed to Amber Fort to have an Elephant ride to the Ambert Fort, which displays a beautiful mix of Mughal and Rajput styles of architecture. Also visit the Jagat Shiromani Temple on the foothills of the Amber Fort. Later stop by Jal Mahal (Water Palace) which was a resting place for the kings in summer time. After lunch visit the City Palace of the Maharaja of Jaipur which has a fabulous collection of robes, saris in cotton and silk with gold latticed work, paintings, a huge collection of arms in the ammunition gallery, also visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory built in 1727. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 13 : Jaipur - Abhaneri - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (240 Kms / 5 Hrs)
After breakfast leave to Agra, On the way visit Galta sun temple or Monkey temple, Later visit Abhaneri Chand Baori which is one of the oldest Step well in Rajasthan built by King Chanda (Chandra) in 8th Century. Later continue towards Fatehpur Sikri known as the Phantom city or abandoned city, built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in the second half of the 16th century. Overnight at hotel in Agra.
Day 14 : Agra - New Delhi (205 Kms / 4 Hrs)
The 7th Wonder of the World TAJ MAHAL is awaiting your arrival today morning. A must see with the rising sun as the Taj Mahal is bathed in the golden rays of the morning sun. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial that has the tomb of his beautiful wife Mumtaj Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. After a leisurely breakfast and a bit of relax at your hotel, see the Agra Fort built by Akbar where Shahjahans own son Aurangzeb imprisoned Shahjahan. Later proceed to New Delhi Airport to take your International Flight for your further journey back to your country.
