Day 01 : New Delhi
Ashok India Travels Pvt. Ltd. welcomes you for your Classic Triangle Tour in India. Our representative will receive you at the airport, will brief you about the tour and handover the travel documents. Take a tour of Old Delhi built by Emperor Shahjahan who also built the famous Taj Mahal, Here visit the Jama Masjid which is the biggest Mosque of its kind in India. Later visit Humayuns tomb the first Mughal construction in India from 1565 AD. After that visit the new garden city built in 1911 by the British, Here visit India Gate (War Memorial Arch) built in the earlier half of the 20th century, also drive pass through Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House), Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings & Connaught Palace shopping centre. Later visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple (Birla Temple) - a modern Hindu temple and Sikh Temple. Overnight at hotel in New Delhi.
Day 02 : New Delhi - Jaipur (270 Kms / 5 Hrs)
After a leisurely breakfast moves to the charming Pink City of Jaipur, After Check-In at your hotel and a bit of relax, here Visits Albert Hall Museum which is the oldest museum of the state and functions as the State museum of Rajasthan. The museum has a rich collection of artefacts like paintings, carpets, ivory, stone, metal sculptures, colourful crystal works etc. After lunch visit the Lakshminarayan Birla Temple which is a great piece of work in marble. Later in the evening enjoy a movie in Rajmandir Cinema which is Asia´s Second Best Cinema (2013) a highly recommended place. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 03 : Jaipur
A full day city tour of Jaipur starting with a short stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photography, Later proceed to Amber Fort to have an Elephant ride to the Ambert Fort, which displays a beautiful mix of Mughal and Rajput styles of architecture. Also visit the Jagat Shiromani Temple on the foothills of the Amber Fort. Later stop by Jal Mahal (Water Palace) which was a resting place for the kings in summer time. After lunch visit the City Palace of the Maharaja of Jaipur which has a fabulous collection of robes, saris in cotton and silk with gold latticed work, paintings, a huge collection of arms in the ammunition gallery, also visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory built in 1727. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 04 : Jaipur - Abhaneri - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (240 Kms / 5 Hrs)
After breakfast leave to Agra, On the way visit Galta sun temple or Monkey temple, Later visit Abhaneri Chand Baori which is one of the oldest Step well in Rajasthan built by King Chanda (Chandra) in 8th Century. Later continue towards Fatehpur Sikri known as the Phantom city or abandoned city, built by the Mughal emperor Akbar in the second half of the 16th century. Overnight at hotel in Agra.
Day 05 : Agra - Orchha (205 Kms / 5 Hrs)
The 7th Wonder of the World TAJ MAHAL is awaiting your arrival today morning. A must see with the rising sun as the Taj Mahal is bathed in the golden rays of the morning sun. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial that has the tomb of his beautiful wife Mumtaj Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. After breakfast, see the Agra Fort built by Akbar where Shahjahans own son Aurangzeb imprisoned Shahjahan. Later proceed to Orchha, evening arrive to Orchha, Rest of the time for leisure. Overnight at hotel in Orchha.
Day 06 : Orchha - Khajuraho (180 Kms / 3 Hrs)
In the morning, visit Orchha, a beautiful medieval town, time has stopped in this part of the world and you can feel the timelessness of this spot. The river Betwa picturesquely flanks the city. In Orchha, You will see the beautiful Palace Complex Jahangiri Mahal and the Raja Mahal. Closely study the intricacies of the mural paintings in the Raja Mahal and visit the Laxminarayana Temple. Later continue towards Khajuraho about 180 km away by road. In the evening, enjoy dance show of various forms of folk dances of India by Bollywood artists. Overnight at hotel in Khajuraho.
Day 07 : Khajuraho - Varanasi (By Flight )
Morning sightseeing shows you the Kamasutra temples built during the 9th to the 11th centuries by the powerful dynasty of Chandela Rajputs. The Chandelas built 85 Kamasutra temples in all but today only 20 temples stand intact. The Kamasutra temples are superb examples of Indo-Aryan architecture and depict images of gods and goddesses, warriors and musicians, real and mythological animals and in great detail of different sexual positions. Later fly to the oldest living city of the world - Varanasi. Upon Arrival transfer to your hotel and later in the evening enjoy a Boat ride at Ganges to visit the GANGA AARTI (Prayer of River Ganges). Overnight at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 08 : Varanasi
Early in the morning (05:00hrs), you will be taken to the banks of the river Ganges where you board a boat to see the morning ablutions of the Hindus. The boat ride shows you Dasaswamedh Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Assi Ghat, Dasaswamedh Ghat, Harish Chandra Ghat and Tulsi Ghat. After breakfast, visit the Benares Hindu University which is the largest residential university in India with more than 3000 residential students, after that visit Sarnath, the sacred city for the Buddhist where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon to his first five disciples. Overnight at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 09 : Varanasi - New Delhi (By Flight)
In the morning after a leisurely breakfast, you are free to move on your own in Varanasi near the Ghats and explore its narrow streets or relax at your hotel. Later take your flight to New Delhi to connect to your International Flight Back Home. You need to be at the airport 3 hours before your International flight departure time.
