Accommodation :
The Windflower Spa and Resort is located on 10 acres of greenery at the foot of the sacred Chamundi Hill. It is close to a forest reserve and is therefore blessed with rich flora and fauna. The resort is set amidst serene surroundings far from the noise and pollution of the city while remaining very accessible from the heart of the city, which is only 2.5kms away. It is our belief that surroundings contribute substantially to our state of mind. We therefore placed much emphasis on the design of the resort space to cultivate a sense of calm and relaxation. Rooted in the principles of Zen, pure and fluid spaces yield a source of serenity for guests in a marked departure from the real world. The Windflower Spa and Resort's distinct personality is defined by its unique design feature-the large mirror pool which is visible from every cottage deck was made in order to impart a sense of tranquility to the senses and much attention has been placed on the landscaping to ensure a continuity of design while stressing the need to ensure complete privacy of the guests. Stylish, elegant and peaceful, the Resort rooms complement its natural surroundings beautifully, merging seamlessly within it. Gentle cascading water feature at the swimming pool, the arecanut cladding used extensively, combined with contemporary Oriental furniture, together offer a relaxing haven of natural elegance for total hedonistic escapism. Executive Rooms: - All first floor Executive rooms are oversized with an open balcony overlooking the water body and boast of a spellbinding view of the sacred Chamundi Hill. Deluxe Rooms: The Deluxe ground floor cottages are designed to offer a feeling of luxury in terms of size, privacy and facilities provided. The king sized four poster beds exude a sense of pampering opulence and every room has a private courtyard fitted with an open air shower. Royal Residential Suites: Royal Residential Suites offer an opulent residential experience with the bedroom and living room opening out into a private dip pool and courtyard. The suites offer an unrestricted view of the mirror pool and gardens. Club Class: Club Class suites have same features as Royal Residential Suite except for the private dip pool.
Location :
By Air: The nearest airport is Bangalore 130kms. All domestic airlines are operating flights to and from Bangalore to all major cities of the country. A few international flights to the Middle East are also operated from Bangalore. By Rail (Mysore 5kms): There are regular train services operating between Bangalore and Mysore. The Shatabdi Express connects Mysore to Chennai. The ideal route to reach Mysore is via Bangalore. By Road: Bus services by Karnataka Road Transport Corporation as well as private tour operators run regular bus services for the city. It is only a 3-hour journey from Bangalore to reach Mysore. The KSRTC Town Bus services, connecting different parts of the city and suburbs provide transport within the City. Auto Rickshaws and Private Taxis are the most reliable and easily available mode of transport in the city.

Olive Garden - Mysore's first and only fine dining multi cuisine restaurant, the Olive Garden is located in a lovely ambience with water bodies flowing all around and landscaped gardens surrounding it. The food served includes: Mughlai, Chinese, Continental, Thai. Vineyard - A cosy bar located close to the Olive Garden restaurant, done up in a contemporary fashion yet retaining traditional values of personalized service and attention to detail. Liquid- the lounge - Soon to be opened lounge bar with a water theme. This lounge bar overlooks the picturesque swimming pool and is ideal for spending a relaxing evening with friends and family. Spa cuisine - The Windflower also offers spa cuisine for the discerning Wellness traveler. The kitchen has a chef dedicated to Ayurvedic cuisine and health foods. The idea is to offer simple yet tasteful dishes which are health-giving at the same time. Oils and fats, white bread, thickening agents, sugar and excess salt are all avoided in Spa cuisine.

Mysore :
Mysore is a major tourist city of Karnataka. The city was the erstwhile capital of the state and hence has played an important role in the history of the state and of South India. Today it has developed into a modern city like many other cities in the country. But this city has not lost touch with its rich historical and cultural legacy. Mysore city is a favourite tourist destination in Karnataka. Tourist from within the country and from outside come see the splendour of the city of Mysore. The city has a number of places a person can visit. There are a number of Royal buildings, gardens, waterfalls, temples, museums and modern amusement parks. The city of Mysore is known as the 'City Of Palaces'. There are number of buildings built by the Royal family and are exquisite examples of Dravidian architecture and display grandeur and lavish life lead by the Emperors while they ruled the state. Apart from the Palaces there are number of other tourists attractions that one can visit in Mysore. One of the popular spots is the Chamundi hills and the temple on top of the hills. This prominent landmark of Mysore is a favourite destination for the locales as well. The KRS dam and the adjoining Brindavan Gardens are worth visiting. The Brindavan Gardens is one of its kinds in the country. It is famous all over for its colorfully lit dancing fountains that come alive once the sun sets. There are three lakes in Mysore that have become a haven for migratory birds and are set in lush green surroundings that are relaxing and worth visiting. The Mysore Zoo is the oldest Zoo in the country and was set up by Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar in 1892. The Zoo flourished under Royal patronage and was handed over to the Government after independence. Today the Zoo is equipped with the most modern facilities and is a pioneer in breeding animals in captivity. Another famous monument of Mysore city is the Philomena Church that has a relic of the 3rd century St. Philomena preserved in a catacomb in below the main altar. The Church is also famous for its 175 feet high spires. These are some of the important sights to see in Mysore city.
